We hold book fairs in the library during conference week in November and near the last week of March most years.  All proceeds from the book fair directly benefit students at Woodlands Elementary.  We are able to add many new books to our library each year through your generosity.  In the spring of 2008 we donated the profits ($950) to PTA to purchase picnic tables for the new playground.  The 2009 spring book fair profits (>$1000) were donated to the library by PTA to purchase AR quizzes and a new document camera.  Proceeds from the Fall Book Fair will go to purchase needed titles for the library.    Thanks to you for your past and future generosity!

	Are you read to travel?  Get ready for Destination Book Fair! Our Fall 2009 Book Fair will run November 19-November 25 (8:45am-3:30pm, closing at noon on 11/25).  We're excited to share many wonderful books and other materials with our students and families.
We've scheduled some special events surrounding our fall book fair this year.  Tuesday, November 24: 5:30-8pm late night book fair 5:30pm Reflections entries on display in library 6-8pm Brian from the Bug Safari will be here with his wonderfully interesting specimens.
