The mission of the library program is to ensure that students (and staff) are effective users of ideas and information.
-Information Power (1988)

The Woodlands Elementary Library is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm for students and parents.  Hope to see you soon!  If you haven't already signed up to be a parent patron, please stop by our library to get signed up.  Thank you!

Summer Checkout 2009 information is now available!  Stop by the library to pick up an informational letter or read it online.  Once you're ready to apply for Summer Checkout, please fill out an application.  Applications for Summer Checkout 2009 are available in the library and here.

"Look smart; carry a book.  Be smart; carry a library book."

~Marvin Scilken, librarian (1927-1999)

The 2010 nominees for the various children's choice awards are set.  Go to the Reading Awards page for lists.  You need to read or hear at least 2 or 3 in order to vote for your favorite in the spring of 2010.  Summertime is a GREAT time to get a jump on reading the nominees.  Remember that many of these books will be available for checkout during Summer Checkout and in the fall.

Woodlands Elementary School is located in the Central Kitsap School District near Silverdale, Washington.  We have children in grades preschool through 6th.

Visit Ms. Roberts' Moodle site for some fun and helpful resources.
