The mission of the library program is to ensure that students (and staff) are effective users of ideas and information.
-Information Power (1988)

The Woodlands Elementary Library is open Monday - Friday from 8:50 am - 3:30 pm for students and parents.  Hope to see you soon!  If you haven't already signed up to be a parent patron, please stop by our library to get signed up.  Thank you!

"Look smart; carry a book.  Be smart; carry a library book."

~Marvin Scilken, librarian (1927-1999)

The Woodlands Science Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.  All students in grades 3-6 will complete an individual science project.  Please click on the Research Links page for more information about science fair and research.

Please remember to read with your child every day at home. Of course, reading aloud and in person is preferred, but we're all busy and occasionally we'll need to use other resources. TumbleBooks is one of these resources! You'll be pleased with the selection of books. Enjoy!

Please see Ms. Roberts in the library for the username and password information.

Note, students may only use TumbleBooks library at home.

The 2010 nominees for the various children's choice awards are set.  Go to the Reading Awards page for lists.  You need to read or hear at least 2 or 3 in order to vote for your favorite in the spring of 2010.

Woodlands Elementary School is located in the Central Kitsap School District near Silverdale, Washington.  We have children in grades preschool through 6th.

Visit Ms. Roberts' Moodle site for some fun and helpful resources.
